|How to Pray the Rosary|
||One complete Mystery
of the Rosary consists of one Our Father, ten Hail Marys and one Glory
Be to the Father five times. Each decade is announced as a scriptural reflection.
A spiritual Rosary includes the Bible reading for each decade.
1. COMMENCE WITH THE SIGN OF THE CROSS
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
2. RECITE THE FOLLOWING PRAYERS:
3. Name the appropriate mysteries for the day beginning with the first.
Recite 1 Our Father, 10 Hail Marys and 1 Glory Be To The Father while using the rosary beads as an aid to counting.
Conclude each mystery with the Fatima prayer, as follows:
"O My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell and lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy."
After each decade say :
Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to Heaven especially those in most need of Your Mercy.
4. Continue with the remaining 4 mysteries as in the one above.
5. Having completed the 5 mysteries, recite the Hail Holy Queen:
THE HAIL, HOLY QUEEN
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy! Hail our life,
our sweetness, and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children
of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley,
of tears. Turn, then most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy
toward us; and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy
womb, Jesus; O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
LET US PRAY
6. End with the following prayer:
"O God whose only begotten Son, by His life, Death and Resurrection has purchased for us the rewards of Eternal Life, grant we beseech thee that by meditating on these mysteries of the holy Rosary we may obtain what they contain and obtain what they promise through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen."
May thy Divine assistance remain always with us through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

A PLENARY INDULGENCE
