1.  The Morning Offering

O Jesus, through the most pure heart of Mary and in union of the most sacrifice of the Mass,
I offer to you my prayers works, joys and sufferings of this day and I beseech you to give me
Thy grace that I may not offend you but do thy holy will in all things.

2.  The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed by Thy name. Thy kingdom come: Thy will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespass, as we forgive those who
trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

5.  The Apostles Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was
crucified, died and was buried.
He descended to the dead; on the third he arose again and ascended into heaven where he sits at the right hand
of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.

9.  Prayer of St. Patrick

Christ be beside me, Christ be before me, Christ be behind me, King of my heart.
Christ be within me, Christ be below me, Christ be above me, never to part.

Christ on my right hand, Christ on my left hand, Christ all around me, shield in the strife.
Christ in my sleeping, Christ in my sitting, Christ in my rising, light of my life.

Christ be in all hearts thinking about me, Christ be on all tongues telling of me,
Christ be the vision in eyes that see me, in ears that hear me, Christ ever be.

(This prayer was taught to me by my Father when I was quite young.)

Note: In addition to making time every day for prayer, it is also important to make time to talk to your children. Listen to them at every stage of their growth.
